Join us for a book launch and pop-up exhibition to celebrate the release of Say Yes, Joseph Desler Costa’s visually melodic and lyrical meditation on desire and visual seduction, inspired by the persuasions of mass media and consumer culture.   

Sunday 25 February

Brea Souders will be joining art writer Yuzu Murakami to discuss Another Online Pervert, a book derived from a series of conversations between artist Brea Souders and a female online chatbot. Within the space of their correspondence, dazzlingly surreal and poetic tangents are combined with the material realities of the bot and its connections to capitalism, the future of technology, and the slippery divide between being and non-being. The event will include a book signing.

Art Applied is a vast and comprehensive survey of the work of Dutch designer and architect Petra Blaisse and her studio Inside Outside, presenting a kaleidoscopic overview of their work across landscape, interior and exhibition design. Join us for an intimate celebration to mark the launch of the book, where Petra Blaisse will be discussing her new retrospective in the company of collaborators and friends.

Monday 23 October

This event celebrates Upper Lawn, Solar Pavilion, a rich document of the weekend home Alison and Peter Smithson built in the English countryside, which was central to their practice. Llibreria Finestres presents a conversation between the architects Eva Prats (Flores i Prats) and Anna Puigjaner (MAIO) and Soraya Smithson, artist and daughter of Alison and Peter.

Wednesday 25 October

Join us to celebrate the launch of Alison and Peter Smithson's Upper Lawn, Solar Pavilion, a rich and immersive document of the lives they lived at the weekend home they built in English countryside for their young family. Prof Paul Clarke (Belfast School of Architecture ) will lead a conversation about this illuminating personal project and the far-reaching influence of the Smithsons today.

Carol Armstrong will be in conversation with Joanna Fiduccia at Yale University to celebrate the launch of Painting Photography Painting, her essential first collection of essays that bring together writings on French painting, early photography, feminist theory and the representation of women and gender across nineteenth and twentieth century art history.
