This panel will examine the process of portrait photography, both behind and in front of the camera. Hannah Klemm and Eric Lutz, cocurators of ‘Currents 120: Jess T. Dugan’, will lead a discussion with artist Jess T. Dugan and two of their sitters, Shira Berkowitz and Collin Elliott, who are the subjects of numerous portraits in Dugan’s new book Look at me like you love me.

Frieze and MACK are thrilled to be joined by award-winning artist Thomas Demand for an exclusive signing of his most ambitious book to date, Mundo de Papel. Published by MACK this spring, Mundo de Papel uses sophisticated paper mechanics in the form of pop-ups to present the eight large pavilions Demand designed for his show at Centro Botín, expanding on the dialogue between representation and ‘real’ events at the centre of his work.
